What is... Padlet

Padlet is a website that can be used to create collaborative "walls", where any user with the link can access it and add posts.

Padlets are a great way to allow students to post questions during class anonymously, have discussions, or post answers to questions.

There are three different formats for a Padlet wall - the grid view may be the easiest to use with a lot of students at once. (Settings for your Padlet are on the right side - click on the gear button.)

About Padlet Accounts

You do not have to have an account to create a Padlet, however you will only be able to edit the Padlets you create for 24 hours. (Except for adding "posts" via the link.)

If you do create a free account, you will gain the ability to go back and edit your Padlet, as well as some other features like moderation. (Supports Google account sign-in.)

Teacher accounts are also now available for a fee, and have features like enhanced privacy, school management features, and content filtering.
