How To: Save or Share a Prezi

About Prezi

Prezi is a web-based presentation creator. It is different than other popular presentation tools because instead of using slides, it creates one large image which is moved and zoomed in and out of to present.

There is a Prezi edu section that can be used by teachers and students to set up accounts.

How to Save / Share Prezis

There are a few ways that students can give their teachers access to assignments created as Prezis.

Sharing the Link

The most basic form of sharing is simply to have the students email the link to their Prezi.

To access the link to share a Prezi, look for the Share button and select "Share prezi..."

On the page that appears, either copy-and-paste the provided link, or enter an email address (and select viewer as the share type) to email it.

Downloading as a PDF

Downloading as a PDF will provide the teacher with a "paper" version of each step of the Prezi.

To access the link to download as a PDF, click on the Share button and select "Download as PDF"

Wait for all pages to be processed, and then (in the same menu), click Save PDF to save it to your computer.

Downloading as a Portable Prezi

A portable Prezi is basically a Prezi file that will play on your computer without requiring an Internet connection.

To download a portable Prezi, click on the Share button and select Download as portable prezi.

Wait for the file to be downloaded to your computer, and then open it.

In the ".zip" file, there will be a folder. Drag and drop the folder so it is outside of the file you downloaded (for example, you could drag it to your desktop.)

Open the folder you just drag-and-dropped.

Click on the blue Prezi.exe file in it.

This should open the Prezi.
